Handcrafted by Stefano Traverso, this reserve Merlot from 50 year old vines in the Ronco area is hand picked then fermented on the skins for 20 days, and aged 18 months in French Oak then further in concrete tanks prior to bottling. This wine shows deep, dark ruby color in the glass, delivers aromas of cocoa, coffee and blackberries on the nose, then finishes with intense dark fruits on the palate with hints of plum and blackberries.

Pairing: This structured and well-balanced red goes well with roasted red meats, game, pork, and dry, bold cheeses. Best served at 65F in large format glasses.
