Carlo crafted this easy drinking rosè from 100% Sangiovese fruit harvested from vines 1000 feet above sea level. After a cold maceration in contact with the skins for only a few hours, the skins and must are removed and fermentation completed at very low temperatures.
This Tuscan rosè displays a beautiful coral pink hue in the glass. The wine delivers lively fruit aromas to the nose, delicious hints of raspberries and strawberries on the palate, and a creamy finish reminiscent of strawberry gelato.
I recommend pairing this easy drinker with fruit appetizers, shellfish, crab and sushi. Best enjoyed at 50-55F in a large format glass.
